In a city that is no stranger to champions (and its media-worthy celebrations), Red Bull Championship Run brings a whole new meaning to "grease the poles."
Participants and pole will be on the Sea Philly dock, The Estuary, and viewing will be along the boardwalk, promenade, and Penns Landing Marina. Additional viewing points Liberty Point and the Hilton Hotel. Watch as participants run a a cross a greased pole, competing in speed and agility to capture the flag at the end.
Please call Penns Landing Marina for boat slips, no access to the basin with out a reservation. (Marine police will be patrolling the harbor)
This is the Chamionship Run's first time in the US and appropriately being held in Philly, the town of greased poles!
